Can you specify for which aircraft do you need the CI value? Ed OcampoStaff ReviewerAVSIM Online[email protected]Fly DC Jets
May 5, 201016 yr Author Well, as far as I know airlines usually have a certain cost index they use for a given type of aircraft. For example, from what I've been able to tell, KLM usually uses 50 on their 777's, 150 on the 747's, and 60 on the A330's. This is as far as I've gotten on the list with some google searches. I'd like to fill out the list, so I asked for airlines like Continental and American and SAS.Air Canada: 90 for 767, 200 late 1 for no-connection domestic flightsAir France: (250 for domestic 99 for A319 LRC 45 for longhaul 35 for the rest) all for AirbusBritish AW: Airbus=0 for climb, 20 for cruise B767=40Cathay Pacific: B744=80 B777=160?, 120 if ahead of scheduleEl Al: 737=15-30 747=39(short/Europe) 757=20-40 767=30-40(Europe), 40-45 (longhaul) 777=71(Long Haul)Emirates: A332=25EZJet: A319=10 A320/321=13 B737=14Fly Globespan: B737=14 B738=13Indian Airlines: A320=37KLM: Cityhopper=24 climb, 40 rest 737: 30, 15 for descent A330: 60, 300 late, 30 descent 777: 50, 100 late, 20 descent 747: 150, 300 lateLufthansa: Airbus=30 747=70Ryanair: 35Sabena: A330/340=100Singapore AL: 150 for 777 and 747SouthWest: B737=36Swiss Airlines: A320=10 below FL290 20 above A330/340=30 for LRCTarom: B737=25-40Thomson Airways: A320=13 A321=17 B738=9 B757=10 B767=19 long haul, 11 short haulTunisAir: A320=30 B737=20United AL: A319/320 are M.80 B744=100 B757 is M.81 B767 is M.80 B777=100Virgin Atlantic: 150Wizzair: 35I'm not sure the list is 100% accurate, so don't quote me on them. They're only what I've compiled from internet searches.
May 5, 201016 yr FYI, WN uses 20 for all types. :( You may find this article interesting, it is an explanation of how CI works, and the gives typical values for boeing aircraft. http://www.boeing.com/commercial/aeromagaz...ticle_05_3.html Joe Sherrill

May 6, 201016 yr Author thanks for all the links- especially for the WN correctionI do understand how cost index works, and am just looking for values that some airlines use. If anyone has anymore that I haven't listed, I would appreciate it if you let me know. Thanks
