general question on microsoft visual c+++

Hi i got 2008 c+++ red x86 installed but when i downloaded some airport scenery pack from dream team it had loaded c+++ 2005 red pack. Would that have any effect at all since i noticed it in my add/remove option in my control panel. i now got 2005 and 2008 insalled can i remove the 2005. So what is the latest version that is out there that i can download

It's fine. The C++ 2005 file is a Redistributable file. Don't delete it, the Dream Team software needs it to function! You'll still be able to use 2008.

It is perfectly normal to have a bunch of different versions of the Visual C++ runtimes - there's a different version depending on which version of Visual Studio was used to make the application. Don't remove them or your stuff is going to stop working.
