I have had very good experiences with OSX as well - I have used it as my primary operating system for the last two years on an early 2008 Macbook Pro. I don't think I've had it crash once, or even begin to act funny.FS9/Windows XP runs very well under Bootcamp. FSX is okay, I haven't really tried it too much yet (too scared to for fear of a slide show on this fairly old computer now).Cheers,Rudy

You got me interested! I've got a macbook pro 13 w/ the 2.26 ghz processor. So your saying you get resonable frame ratesrunning the J41 and the newer pmdg planes. Do you have to shut off autogen and scenery or can you get some resonable looking stuff? I might install windows and give it a try. I'm assuming you have a 13 inch is that big enough to see the instruments clearly on?
I'll have to double-check my settings, but I believe I have it set to High graphics (but not Very High) with a few minor tweaks. I do have some autogen scenery enabled, but it's mostly defaults. Tell you what, next time I reboot into Windows, I'll take a few screenshots and post them.I've got a 13" MacBook (would be branded a MacBook Pro now) with the 2.4 GHz Core2 CPU.

The original MacBook still exists actually Chris. There's a 13" Pro now in addition to it.
Sorry for the delayed response -- I missed your reply!Clarification:I actually own one of the aluminum 13" MacBooks that was produced in 2009. Apple doesn't make these anymore -- they subsequently went back to white polycarbonate only for the MacBook, and reserved the aluminum for the MacBook Pros. At the time I got this one, the Pros were only available in 15" and larger models. You are correct, this one is different from a Pro by its lack of SD card slot and Firewire port. I actually think the 13" Pro is really nice, but the amazing thing with the nVidia graphics is that even a regular MacBook would be adequate for FSX. These are powerful laptops!I have managed to collect a few screenshots of PMDG products in FSX in action on my MacBook over the last few weeks, and I will post them here shortly.

I just got bored with exploring North America after several years, and have been checking out a lot of the great airports in Europe lately. This is how I get my flight sim fix when I travel. Enjoy!
