May 13, 201016 yr I'm super frustrated! Both my PMDG 747-400 (Pax and Freighter) and my PMDG MD-11 (Pax and Freighter) exhibit uncommanded roll excursions after 4-5 hours of enroute flying. The excursions begin with slow 10-15 degrees of roll to the left and right, and progressively increase in both angle and frequency. Switching to Heading Hold has no effect on the excursions. Recycling the Autopilot also has no effect on the excursions.Has anyone ever experienced this problem? I'm at a loss. My Level-D 767 and Wilco Airbus Series 1 and 2 never have problems -- even on the longest flights. Please HELP!Dave J.ATPL(H) Captain David M. Jarrett ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI [email protected]
May 13, 201016 yr *This assuming FSX not FS9* Got winds aloft going? That will cause that, least it does in my 747. If you have FSUIPC (registered) you can disable something. Just do a search in the 747 forum should be able to find something. Rick Butler Rainbow Lake Alberta, Canada
May 14, 201016 yr Commercial Member yes it's a weather issue. I usually experience it most over the ocean on long hauls. The only solution I have found is to turn of REX while I am over the ocean (or away from the comp) that works for me. Noah Bryant
