May 14, 201016 yr Is there anyone who would be willing to look at an AFCAD file for me? I am using the KMHV scenery by Brian Selb and am having an issue. I have corrected a couple of things but for some reason rwy 26 is not available for use and I don't know why.If someone is willing to take a look and let me know I would appreciate it. I can send the modified file if necessary although the download from the library should be just as good for this particular problem.Thanks!

I can send the modified file if necessary although the download from the library should be just as good for this particular problem.Thanks!I am a bit confused - Brian's package does not contain an afcad as far as I can tell - so whatever you are working with has to be the default KMHV afcad in FS2004.What exactly do you mean when you say Rwy 26 is not available for use? Does it not show as a potential start location or ??????More details please.
May 14, 201016 yr Author Hmmmm... I guess you're right. I have no idea where this AFCAD came from but it is not the default. I have it in the scenery folder for KMHV and it does have some differences.Okay, let me try that again...I have an AFCAD file for KMHV where rwy 26 is not available for use. By that I mean even if the wind is coming directly from that direction that runway is not an option for takeoff or landing. FS gives rwy 30 instead.If anyone would be willing to take a look I can send it. Maybe you will see something I don't. While I have learned to make minor changes to these files I am by no means an expert.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!
May 15, 201016 yr This may not be an AFCAD issue but instead one of the oddities of FS9 ATC. But then again who knows :(
May 17, 201016 yr If runway 30 has an ILS and runway 26 does not, then FS will give priority to 30. In that case I don't think 26 will ever become the active? You could try wind at 240 at 30 kts and reset ATC (World/Map, change heading by one degree, OK) and see if that will force ATC to use it... Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
