Engaging AP in PMDG 737NG

Featured Replies

I find that sometimes I cannot engage the AP in the PMDG 737NG when I hit 'A' during climbout. I have no idea why. Sometimes, therefore, I hit CMD A first and all is well and THEN I can hit Z to turn it off and then A to turn it back on if I wish. Another really crazy thing I found is that when I hit A in the NG (and also the PSS 777), my Ultimate Traffic TCAS will pop up on the screen as well! That is truly insane! It's not even the shortcut key for the TCAS. I've uninstalled that and the PalmSpotter as a result. I guess this is all very typical FS stuff, isn't it? Some days it all works great, other days you wonder how on earth things got to be so crazy.Appreciate any posts if anybody knows whether there is a fix for this. Thanks!JS

I wouldn't use default key assignments for complex planes like PMDG. I only click on the proper buttons on the panel, but you can always look up the specific key assignments under the PMDG menu.
