May 18, 201016 yr I have almost an identical situation as Christoph (several posts below). I am posting here so as (a) not to hijack his thread and (:( to vent a little. So here is my story. A few years ago I downloaded the PMDG737-600/700 and used it happily. I got a few "brake" issues etc and then (and this may be my big mistake right here) I purchased a CD version of the standalone 737-800/900 second hand via ebay. I installed that and uninstalled the 600/700 and all worked well. I was a happy simmer.I then joined a Virtual Airline and they requested that my "early hours" with them should be flown with a 737-700. As I had a made a backup copy of the PMDG 600/700 I tried to reinstall it but found that I needed PMDG support to complete the reinstallation (as advised on this forum).I contacted PMDG support explaining all and they sent a reply ( with a case number) saying they couldn't find any reference to my download on my current email address and asked me to supply a previous email address and/or street name of my address. I replied, sending both. I have heard nothing since despite having contacted them 3 times with the requested info and quoting the case number they issued. If they think I have a pirated copy, which of course I haven't, I would prefer it if they said so instead of just ignoring my emails. In the meantime my VA have kindly agreed to let me continue using the PMDG 737-800 so now I have no pressing need to follow up this matter. If the IFly 737 materialises soon it will be "bye bye PMDG" (and all their products) from me.Sorry for the rant - just wanted this off my chest.Bill
May 18, 201016 yr A full name (Frist name + Surname) is required by PMDG on this forum :( If the IFly 737 materialises soon it will be "bye bye PMDG" (and all their products) from me.Why? Becuase they haven't responded to your email? Andrew McCluskey

It appears that they have abandoned me without explanation. Surely it cannot be a "firewall" issue as my first email reached them and they did reply to that?William Hobbs
May 18, 201016 yr Commercial Member Bill,1. I can't look up your information via a forum post if you only provide a first name. There are hundreds of Bills in our system.2. I don't specifically remember a ticket like this, so it was likely Paul or Robert who handled it. The usual cause of this scenario is that the old purchase is under a different account (email address) or it was purchased prior to 2005, when we had the server crash that wiped out all of our customer data prior to then. We are not assuming you are a pirate.Email me personally at [email protected] with the supporting info you'd given in the tickets and I'll look into it right now.
