Try selecting the My Controls option at the top of the page and scrolling down to Options and selecting Board Settings.Then choose Rich Text Editor.See if doing that allows you better editing control when posting.

Strange. I had the very same problem so I checked the settings to do the recommended selection for Rich Text Editor only to find out it was already selected.I decided to try not using the Rich Text Editor option and now everything works fine.
