I have $35 and been debating for the last 3hrs if I should get FTX NA or Ezca. I have tried the FTX demo and liked it, and I also saw videos of Ezca on youtube and i think its a brilliant little utility. which one of them should I get?

I have Ezdok which I believe is what you mean so I'm a bit biased but I would opt for EZdok. Raises the realism level substantially.Craig

I dont have Ezdok but i do have FTX NA. While I love FTX, Ezdok has been on my list for a while. Ezdok can be used for all your flights while for FTX you have to be in the Northwest. I would say if you do most of your flying outside of the NW then get Ezdok. If you fly in the area alot or live there then get FTX. I live in Seattle and let me tell you that FTX gets the area spot on. Cant go wrong either way.

I do most of My flight In Africa but lack of detailed and spectacular scenery is a problem. I have Sccenery Tech Africa and SRTM mesh that has helped but FTX still looks a million times better. will they do the entire FSX world? I will probably get Ezdock then FTX later hoping the discount they have right now will still be available.

The learning curve takes a bit with the EZDok but once you get it dialed in with your favorite airplane try flying it for a week and turn the EZDok off :( Just wont feel real anymore without it. I purchased GEX/REX/UTX/FS Genesis but spend all my time in PNW. Flying around near KMMV is so real that I feel the strange urge to move there :( . I fly from airport to airport and each one has its own personality and style. Well worth the money. PNW and REXv2 cant be beat.

It took me a while to set up my joystick but i finally managed and took the Default A320 for a test 'drive'. wow! the camera movement while taking off and landing is worth every penny. I am going to tweek it to work with my number one VLJ, Epic Victory and see what that is going to be like. :(

My goodness... you ask for advice, two people reply and within an hour you already bought something... Well, it does save me the time I had planned to give my advice... Pity you don't have the best scenery around to look down upon while flying with EZdok...! :( Seriously, PNW or EZdok: they both are worth the money. Ever since I bought PNW (the day it was released) I haven't left the area! But I also own EZdok and don't want to fly without it. So either way, you sure got your money's worth. :( Now save some money for PNW asap...!

Hi, Both are amazing, both are great etc. etc. etc. If I had to choose only one I'd go for Orbx's PNW. The scenery is beyond good and free airport/area additions are offered - new one offered today at their site. Hope this helps. Howard

I do agree: I'd also get PNW first. But it won't help because he already bought EZdok. I am sure PNW will be his next purchase though! :(

I really wanted PNW but it will have to wait till pay day (Friday). I was always scared to switch to FSX cause of my computer specs but to my surprises It plays better than I thought. I can max out every slider( Traffic 40% ga 40% airlines) and have autogen on extremely dense and still maintain 25fps in JFK :( . The only thing I miss from my fs9 is PMDG Queen and NG737
