May 27, 201016 yr I'm looking to assign jet starter controls to my joystick but everything I've tried so far hasn't worked. This is for the Cerasim 412EP Helo but I guess it would be nice to know for all aircraft. Is there a utility that would display that info? In other words, I click a VC switch and the utility displays FSX's control assignment.Thanks....
May 27, 201016 yr Sort of but in reverse - registered version of FSUIPC. You click the button and then you can assign a function. Honestly, the FSX control assignments does the same thing but FSUIPC has more options but a steeper learning curve.Have you tried assigning functions within FSX? MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
May 27, 201016 yr Also, hitting Shift + F10 in flight will bring up the kneeboard where you can view all the controls which have already been assigned. Mike Beckwith
May 27, 201016 yr I'm sorry. I think I misread you question a little. FSUIPC won't display what you have assigned but you can use it to make assignments. May 27, 201016 yr Author Guess I'm looking for something a little more advanced. Something that could tell me what the aircraft's creator assigned to a VC switch. Looking at the kneeboard using Shift-F10 is helpful but not specific enough. So far I've tried everything with the word Start or Starter but no luck.
May 27, 201016 yr As far as I know the startup controls for helos have been completely overlooked in FSX which is a pity. The closest you'll get is CTRL + E. Mike Beckwith
May 29, 201016 yr Author I assumed it was treating it like any other jet's turbine engine. Is this not the case?
