Help! Having trouble with FS.

Featured Replies

What version of "FS" are you running?? I take it that is FS2002 or possibly FS2000???EDIT: also be sure you're running latest version of video drivers, ect.

PMDG doesn't run in FS2000, and the horizon shows it's FS2004. And I made sure of having the latest everything before posting here.[a href=http://sgair.net" target="_blank]http://sgair.net/mike/banners/daniel_small.jpg [/a]Click the Banner to visit the FFX Website.

hi,whoa man that looks bad. Does it only do that with the pmdg 737?Andrew

Well, From the information provided it looks as if it is video related. The best thing would to post what video card you are using and the driver version. If it dose not happen all the time then here are some thoughts to ponder. If it is constant then something has to change but if it only accrues somewhere during a time of flight then it could be the PCI Latency between your video card and the mother board. In that case you would have to find out what chip set your motherboard is and looks for updates for the chip set. It accrues mostly that I have seen with VIA and AMD chip sets. It also could be caused from the Video card chip getting to hot. When it happens check your chip temp to see if it is cool to touch (Please turn off computer before you do this)If this seems to make sense with what you are going through and you have a Hewlett Packard or dell then you may want to contact them because only they can tell you to open the case to your computer. But you have an idea of what could be the causesThanks

Jason:Thanks. I have spotted a few things. First, it only happens when I enter instant replay (it goes that way and stays that way) or when I open and close map view. If I avoid those I can fly without it showing up. I have a GeForce Ti4600 128MB with 44.03 official drivers.Second, the distant clouds seem to have a darker outline, and in some cases they're just a white outline with no fill inside. I did some stuff and the latter was fixed. I was also able to go into instant replay without it showing up. Maybe it got fixed.Cheers,[a href=http://sgair.net" target="_blank]http://sgair.net/mike/banners/daniel_small.jpg [/a]Click the Banner to visit the FFX Website.
