May 29, 201016 yr I currently have an Intel motherboard, and an Intel Duo core 3.0 GHZ, I am using Windows 7 64 bit and have 8 GHZ of RAM. I have a GEFORCE 8800 GTX card.I have FS9 with a ton of commercial scenery, and I run a lot of AI, (complete set of World of AI, plus several others created by me)and I also fly mostly PMDG's 737 and 747 aircraft.I ususally run about 23 FPS but at around the airports it drops to around 14 FPS, and also sometimes while flying on spot view it stutters to 4 or 3 FPS for a second or so a few times and then back up.I want to get no less than 25FPS with full settings. What should I get, without spending a fortune?ThanksJuan

June 4, 201015 yr Hi Juan,There is something not quite right with your set up, I have a similar PC and my FPS with sliders set to Max, AI at 56% and weather at 2/3 Cumulus, I get 60 FPS.First of all see if you can overclock the CPU from within the BIOS, I increased mine from 3.0 GHZ to 3.45 GHZ.Secondly download and install nhancer and use the FS9 profile, this increased my FPS considerably and also improved the quality of the screen image.Thirdly, thoroughly defrag your hard drive, I do mine three times weekly.Hope this helps, my FPS dont drop now below 30 FPS.Best Regards,Chris EGBB
