FS2Crew problem

Featured Replies

Hello, after spending a bit of time getting used to pmdg's 747x without fs2crew running, I decided to try out the RKSI to RJAA tutorial flight in the manual again, in the hopes I would have more success.Everything went find untill the FO got back, he switched the autobrakes to RTO and did his oxygen test, but i noticed he didnt turn his flight director on, no biggie in my opinion. In the manual it says any time after he has finished his oxygen test you can call to do the pre flight checks, I pressed the PF button and the yellow light came on, but no voices or anything happened.Im not really sure what the problem is and havn't managed to find a solution with google. Thanks in advance for any help.EDIT: forgot to say, I dont know how FS2Crew really works so I dont know what info to provide to help solve the problem so please do ask if you need more info :)

Hi,After the Yellow dot (light) came on, did you press the Main Button to start the checklist? Please take a 2nd look at the tutorial flight and manual. You need to assign the Main Button to a joystick button or key board button.Cheers,

Thanks very much, its all working now, for some reason I got it into my head the main button meant the PF button. One thing I am still unsure about is ATC as once I had pushed back, obviously I can just taxi to the runway I like but, what are you meant to do ATC wise because they wouldnt let me taxi to the right runway, so I ended up just taking off without clearance. So I'm not really sure what to do, as I want to try do everything by the book, inlcuding ATC communications if possible, are there some settings that i have missed that allow better communication between ATC and FS2Crew or do I need to think about looking for an addon ATC program? Thanks again for your help.
