How to remove the mouse pointer

Featured Replies

I recently bought a new PC based on Windows 7 64 bit. My previous system used XP SP3. I am finding that I cannot get the mouse pointer to disappear in FS. On my old system the mouse pointer would appear when I was using the mouse, and it would then disappear after a few seconds. This is not happening on my new system, so the pointer is always there in my FS window. Any suggestions how I can fix this? Thanks.

It works just fine on my Win 7 64 bit setup (the same way it does on my old XP setup).I can only suggest that you check the mouse settings - just type the word mouse in the Win 7 search box and it will bring up a number of areas you can check. If all else fails, just push the mouse pointer off the edge of the screen - but that really should be a "last resort".Let us know what you discover.
