June 4, 201016 yr I was cruising at FL250..the max Alt. for the JS41 and the F/O kept telling me to watch my altitude and that the max was FL250 lol. I was approaching YBBN tonight on the SINKKA 5 Arrival and turing to final I ask the F/O to AMR Appraoch then asked for Nav because I didn't have the Localizer captured yet 9part of SOP's is to have NAV then capture the LOC then ask for APP)...soon as I asked for APP I got a CTD...g3d.dll Falult. Don't know what to think of it. Thanks very well done product. One more thing, if you SET SPEED below 170 he tells you off, but in real life the climb speed is 170 KIAS until MACH is available, then its Mach .34..right? Thanks.. I read that in the SOP's somewhere.Ron Hamilton

I'll put a 500 foot buffer in there in a future update to give you a bit of extra margin.G3d.Dll fault... Could be anything video related. Try refreshing your video drivers. We never experienced that during beta testing nor has it been reported before. If you can consistently reproduce it let me know. Those kinds of faults can come from a million different sources, however. He told you off if you set the speed below 170: He should only "tell you off".. your words LOL... if you fly below 170 knots in the climb. Mach 34, I'll have to dig through the PMDG AOM.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
June 4, 201016 yr It's Mach .35, actually. I admit that I never used the mach mode during testing, because our company limited maximum altitude to FL180. Out of habit, I respect that limitation and have never flown above FL180 or used the Mach mode for the climb.
