Any suggestions to get my new rig to run better

Just bought a new pc I7380 with 6gb ram and a 480gtx. Dont really want to overclock, but i would like to get rid of blurries, they dont seem go away unless i turn the sliders all the way to the left. Fps is very good even with many cloud layers, its just the blurries on the ground that annoys me a bit.

Did you mean i7 980x? As for the blurries, I would recommend downloading the 257.15 beta driver from nvidia. Many people are reporting greatly improved visual quality. Also, head over to Simforums and look for NickN's tweak to get his old nhancer settings to run via the nvidia control panel. This will also really improve visual quality. Finally, you can give ******* Altuve's shader 3.0 mod a try, which is suppose to also improve texture quality at a distance. You can find it via the AVSIM file library.

You do not say what OS you are using.Win7 and FSX setup, look for the post from NickN on April 11th @ 4:31http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...d-windows7-helpIf you are on XP that post has a link to XP.Setting up Win7 and FSX and that includes defragging with O&O will do wonders. If you use the 257.15 drivers Audiohavoc recommended then here is a link to another thread by Nick on how to set those uphttp://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_post...ancer-for-25715You are getting blurries because your CPU/GPU can not keep up with what FSX needs, tweaking your OS and FSX along with setting up your GPU should take care of most of your blurries. If you do not want to OC you may not be able to get rid of all of them.

Yes its a i7 980x, i use win7, i downloaded the nvidia betadrivers 257.15 and added a few tweaks so the blurries are gone, almost :). Is there any tweak i can add that will reduce the popup of buildings, i have all sliders at full now and it runs great but i would like to reduce the popup a bit.

The only thing that I can think of that would reduce the number of buildings popping up is to turn your autogen down. It is one of the sliders, probably under the scenery tab someplace.
