June 12, 201015 yr Commercial Member Stuff like this is almost always caused by weather issues - I'm not sure what Weather Maker Pro is, but that's gotta be the culprit. Look at your temperature, pressure, and wind as this stuff is happening - I'll be it's fluctuating wildly all over the place.Active Sky Evolution and REX2 are the weather apps I have and neither causes anything as extreme as what you describe. June 12, 201015 yr Author Thanks Ryan! I'll give Active Sky Evolution and REX2 a try. Your guidance and advice is always spot on! I followed your guidance for nHancer and really like the difference it's made.Weathermaker pro is a weather program made by the makers of REX. I think they learned from WMP and applied it REX. I'm not aware of ASE, but will check it out. You're correct about the pressure fluctuating all over the place. I've never paid any attention to the temperature. I got the wind under control. No more changeing 180 degrees every second.Take care,Mike Franks Mike Franks
June 12, 201015 yr Commercial Member Ah, yeah if that's some early version of REX then you definitely want the newer stuff they've made in REX2. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
June 13, 201015 yr If you use ASE for FS9 I suggest you consider using the weather smoothing options in FSUIPC and not use DWC in ASE as for some systems that has caused some performance issues. In the ASE manual it does have a section regarding extreme turbulence sensitivity in certain models and you might wish to look at that. Either there or on their support forum there is a thread on reducing turbulence which can cause these issues.
