anyone else get occasional black flash over scenery

More noticeable above clouds at cruise altitude, i cant figure what is causing this? It is a black flash over scenery clouds happens for a millisecond. annoying, i noticed when clouds move or update or a wind shift this happens.Anyone ever notice this?

You're using REX weather generator, right? If so it's during the time, of loading the weather. I get it too. That's why I use REX for the textures only, and use ASE for weather!

Raise your TBM to 400. See if that eliminates black textures.

You can.Some cards can't handle the setting. You can always go lower.Avoid the TextureMaxLoad= with a TBM of 400.

I started getting those when I installed REX. But I am not using REX for weather, I am only using it for textures. Is there a fix?

What do you mean by (Avoid the TextureMaxLoad= with a TBM of 400)?

He means that there's a setting TextureMaxLoad in fsx.cfg, or if its not there, you could put it there, but should not if you set your TBM to 400.

Ah i see alot of people reported this would not work in fsx unlike fs9?

That I can't answer for you.I also have flashes with REX Weather Engine, thus not using, I prefer ASE anyway.
