Flight report add-on

Featured Replies

Is there any more payware or freeware flight report add-on for FSX? I know that Fspassengers can but i don't really want to use its load manager. Im thinking about FS flight keeper but its quite expensive! Frank

Flight Keeper is indeed not cheap, but you do get what you pay for where that is concerned. It's one of those FS add-ons that you can look at for a long time at the website shop, thinking 'mmm, not sure I want to pay that..' and then when you eventually take a chance and buy it, you think, 'what an idiot, why didn't I buy this thing years ago?!'With regard to features, since so many FS airliners - even the really good ones - don't have an ACARS system, the ability to add one to your aircraft alone makes Flight Keeper worth getting, because that is a godsend for serious airliner flying, and the moving map and TCAS facilities that adds are cool too. Then there are all the other things it can do on top of that, such as the flight planning sheets, reporting, logbooks, VA messaging, adding all kinds of ambience sounds (in several languages), etc, etc. As if that wasn't enough, it is one of only a few FS add-ons that has the built-in ability for you to assign a CPU core for it to use, and there is also the fact that it works for FS9 and FSX.What you get out of Flight Keeper depends on how in-depth you like to go with your simming, but I would say that even if you used only a quarter of what it can do, you'd still think it was good value. Personally, I think it is one of the best FS add-ons that there is.Al
