Not fixing your problem, but if you cut 'n' pasted, below is what these parameters should be:-[GRAPHICS]HIGHMEMFIX=1[bufferPools]UsePools=0

What do these commands in CFG file do?Are they deleted everytime I change something in the settings?

hi. thx for reply me but i did that modifications already in my fsx.cfg weeks ago. my performance gain really good especially in scenery like london heatrow aerosoft (19-25fps with 45% woai traffic inside the pmdg md-11 cockpit). But the question is:Why my gou usage is only 15-20% when i play especially inside the virtual cockpit?

I have CPU i5-750, 8 gigs of ram, and a Radeon HD5970. I get some performance issues, so I checked my CPU usage and it was constantly at 30%.So I have the same question as the author of this thread. Why is my CPU not utilized fully?

Hi,the FSX is at first CPU bounded. I have the same graphic card like you. I

FSX Computer: I7-980X @4GHZ - Kingston DDR3 1066MHZ (7-7-7-20) - Gainwaird GTX285 1GB - 2x Raptor 150GB (1. Generation)

Sounds like your affinity mask is 14. If you want to max out your CPU0 then set your LOD to 6.5.jja
Will my FPS decrease if I raise my LOD but not get my CPU to 100%?

Hi,yes flying with 8xS AA is no problem. Our GTX285 have enough performance to handle that. You won
