August 11, 200322 yr FS9 has some nice new bridges at Ketchikan, Alaska and Port Huron, Michigan, but I don't know they could have missed the Mackinaw bridge at Mackinaw, Michigan !!!
August 11, 200322 yr I beleive there is already a fix for this in the avsim library. Go check it out!Hornit
August 11, 200322 yr Yes, and the old bridge over the river Maas at Maastricht (Netherlands) is also missing. IMHO there is already too much palaver about missing bridges. And mostly about USA bridges of which most flight simmers have never heard of. Jozef http://www.dse.nl/~joker32/pictures/signature.jpg
August 11, 200322 yr Say it isn't so. No Mackinaw bridge??? That is a HUGE bridge.I would gladly trade all of the insignificant bridges that are represented in 2004 quite well for the massive and distinctive landmarks, such as the Mackinaw, that are missing. Most of these stunning bridges were at least represented in some fashion in 2002. Bummer.
August 11, 200322 yr I looked in the Library under Mackinaw, Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw bridge fix and came up empty. It's a major bridge, and a land mark for VFR flight. The bridge is 5 miles long, connecting the Lower peninsular to the upper peninsular. Its in 2002. To people flying flight sim in Michigan, its like the Golden Gate in SF is missing.
