I was using OCZ 1600 cas 8 and replaced it with this recently, and for FSX it did make a difference. I got my 2x2G kit OC at 1720 cas 6; it completely rips with my cpu at 3.8. I don't use a RAM fan either, I don't think one is necessary unless your case has weak airflow or you plan to uber OC the RAM.

I heard great things about Mushkin and the reviews I have seen thanks for the additional knowledge guys. ^_^ its great that newegg finaly lowered there price.
