August 12, 200322 yr Hi All,I've been reading many posts about people trying different ATI drivers and that's fine if you want to experiment BUT you have to make 100% sure that you've un-installed the older/previous drivers COMPLETELY or else all your hard work may be useless. Many times uninstalling dirvers only through the Add/Remove Programs menu will NOT clean everything out. Registry items are not cleaned out and many times, files are copied to other directories and the uinstall routine doesn't pick up on it. I posted a fool-proof method in my "You Can Have Your Cake and Eat it Part II" post and I highly suggest people follow that procedure. Sometimes all it takes is 1 "bad" old file to mess up an otherwise good driver set and give you poor visuals or poor performance. Here's the link to the thread Installing & Uninstalling video driversGood luck!!Mikehttp://www.members.shaw.ca/madamo/boeingsig.jpg
