hi everyone , I am going to be upgrading my graphics card which is an ati 4350 with 1 gb of memory.my system is a amd quad core 955 black edition o'c from 3.2 to 3.5 , mother board is an asus m4a77td with 4 gb of ddr 3 ram 1024 and a 1 tb sata drive. op system is win 7 64 bit, I am looking at the saphire toxic 4890 has anyone got any opinions on this card the other one I have seen for around the same price is a xfx geforce 280 gtx but that would require a bigger power supply than what I have & the price of the 2 puts me towards an ati 5850 , so I am confused , I have split my hard disc in two so one side is dedicated to fsx acceleration which I use horizon photo scenery gen x.

There's a dedicated Video Card forum here on AVSIM and you might find your answers there. For instance there's a sticky for comparing all video cards. From what I have read, Nvidia cards are best for FSX. Best regards,Jim
