July 7, 201015 yr Maybe a contact points problem. What about the Project Airbus A380? It's pretty nice, you should try it.Oh, ok, will check it out. Thanks.
July 8, 201015 yr Airliner gear isn't too happy on grass - too bumpy. Does it do it on hard surfaces? Could be that the front gear impact damage threshold in the contact points section is relatively low so while it will cope with runways, it maybe won't deal with off-runway surfaces. Does it collapse if you bring the nosewheel down too hard on landing?;)
July 8, 201015 yr Never seen this problem myself... I recommend landing on a runway if you haven't done so already (on the screenshot you are on grass anyway). July 8, 201015 yr Looks like you use the plane as AI?That could explain if it lands kind of hard. :( Staffan
July 8, 201015 yr I landed and then I couldn't stop that's why I ended up on the grass :DIt does it when I am taking off and landing, I havn't a clue what is wrong with it HELP!!! :Dthanks in advance planenutterps- I use the PA A380 aswell
July 8, 201015 yr So when did the wheel sink into the ground? When you hit the grass or when you landed on the runway? The gear is not made to work on grass, it is made to work on asphalt. Assuming that the A380 gear will hold on grass is a incorrect assumption. The answer is simple: stay off the grass. You say you couldn't stop before the end of the runway:- Was the runway long enough for the A380? Don't expect it to land on a 1500ft runway!- When did you touch down? At the beginning of the runway, or halfway? if the altter, it's not so starnge you ran out of runway...- Did you use spoilers, or, in other words, did they deploy at all on touch down?- Did you use reverse thrust?- What break setting did you use on the autobrakes? July 8, 201015 yr Landed at Seattle Airport, where the touchdown markers are. Used reverse thrust and speed breaks. My wheels collapsed on landing. :(
July 8, 201015 yr Landed at Seattle Airport, where the touchdown markers are. Used reverse thrust and speed breaks. My wheels collapsed on landing. :(Very weird... Never seen it happen when I landed that plane, but to tell you the truth, I hardly ever used it. I'm sorry, I can't think of anything more that could be an issue... July 8, 201015 yr Just reinstall the plane. Keep the [flightsim.X] (from the aircraft.cfg) sections and the liveries in 1 folder. Then reinstall the plane and paste the liveries folders into the A380 folder and copy and paste the [flightsim.X] sections into the aircraft.cfg.Try this.
