Hi thinking of getting the radar contact 4 for fsx was wondering since been reading the intallations instructions of radar contact and it says when installing it it will install fsuip4 since i already have the regristed copy of the fsuip4 already on my pc wud it know i already got it installed or will it override it or is there an option in the install option not to install since i already have it thx

I recommend going to http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and getting makerwys and FSUIPC from it. Install it after RC is installed to be sure you have the latest. The distribution of RC may not have the latest versions. Your license key (a file in the modules folder) should be safe but it could not hurt to put a safe copy in a folder outside of FS. It is critical though that you have makerwys version 4.01 or 4.02 or better installed since it fixes a scenery priority issue when the RC database is created. Never run makerwys directly. Always use the button in RC to run the scenery update so the files get copied to RC's data folders. Run the scenery database rebuild after you have updated makerwys after the installation (which runs the distributed version during the install).In addition after the install in your modules folder rename advdisp.dll to advdisp.xxx. It is no longer used with the newer versions of FSUIPC which provide an area for status in the RC menu window in FS.
