July 10, 201015 yr Hi Dear AllI designed a Flight Simulator Engine. it can compute the location(lat , long, alt), bank, roll, pitch of my airplane. BUT it has not any graphical interface.I want to use FSX just as a graphical engine. means that I want to show an airplane by simConnect and move it where my simulator engine has been calculated. also I want to see gauges of this airplane. beside I want to see it by different view that exist in FSX .is it possible? how?thank your for your help.
August 1, 201015 yr Yes it is possible, but the frames per second is the same. You need to put physics, gravitation, pressure, etc.

What are the advantages of your engine over that of the flight sim series produced by MS?By breaking down FSX, using it as purely a graphical engine, would you not be in contravention to the license that you agree to when installing FSX?Thanks and regards,Robert \Robert Hamlich/
August 31, 201015 yr You'd probably be way better off using some other graphics engine, as the one in FSX is kinda low on features, and performs very, very badly as well
