Photoscenery Performance

Featured Replies

Is there a tweak or what-not to improve fps over photoscenery?

Turn off autogen should help.

Most photoscenery automatically eliminates autogen and runs much faster as a result.I've found you need to increase the LOD_radius sometimes though to get the best out of it.IAN

If you have mipmapping options for the control software of your graphics card(s), then playing around with the quality setting for that option can sometimes speed things up a bit. Since there are so many different graphics cards, drivers and brands, you'll have to experiment, but I do know that it can certainly improve matters if you do that via the tray icon with Catalyst's mipmap quality setting on ATI cards, since it effectively alters how much data is going through the graphics card's memory, and that can speed up the rendering and lower the system overhead, which will improve FPS.Al
