July 21, 201015 yr Moderator Ken - Save yourself some grief - if you installed FSX to the default C:\ProgramFiles(x86) folder in W7 64 - uninstall it and reinstall to it's own folder outside of the ProgramFiles(x86) folder.W7 treats files within that folder differently and this can cause problems with FSX and many add-ons.Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

Fortunately I was aware of this concern before installing and I purchased a Raptor 300 for FS > likely overkill, but should give the Sim plenty of room to roam ~;) What 3rd party add-ons are you using with FSX. I'd appreciate recommendations for the ones that you enjoy.Best regards,Ken Ken Boardman

I really like the Pacific NW scenery by FTX (http://fullterrain.com/). It's the latest and greatest IMHO. I would also take a look at the detailed airports rendered by FSDreamteam (http://www.fsdreamteam.com/). That should keep you occupied for a couple of years... :( Best regards,Jim

And I'll take alook at the FTX scenery and FSdreamteam airports.I need a good AIRBUS series (A318, A319, A320). I used PSS Airbuses in FS9 but I don't believe that they are compatible with FSX so I'llneed to hope for another solution.Best regards,Ken Ken Boardman
