July 21, 201015 yr I have the Level D 767 for FSX. The standby compass in the virtual cockpit has a $ sign stuck in the middle, and I don't know how to get rid of it. The same instrument in the 2D cockpit displays correctly. In both cases the compass still works. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but it was the same. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.I have already asked this in the official Level D forum a few days ago. There have been plenty of views, but unfortunately no replies, so I thought I would broaden the audience. Let me assure all concerned that I am a legitimate user with full proof of purchase. Here are a couple of screenshots showing what I mean.3D VC:http://images.fotopic.net/13a6px.jpg2D panel:http://images.fotopic.net/13a6pi.jpg Regards, PD
October 2, 201015 yr I never noticed this, but I am in the VC of the Level D 76 right now flying from KORD to KLAX and sure enough, I see that dollar sign. Never noticed it before so not sure how long it has been there. Doesnt seem to cause any functional problems with the plane, so I dont plan on a reinstall on my end. October 6, 201015 yr Author Gentlemen, thank you for your replies. Have you tried a simple reinstall?Yes, as I mentioned in the first paragraph of my original post.Your best to post this in the dedicated support forums at http://leveldsim.com - They will deal with it there, that is if your a licensed user.I already did that, as I mentioned in the second paragraph of my original post, where I also gave my reason for repeating the question here. I am a fully licensed user of both the FSX and FS9 Versions. Since then, my post on the official forum has attracted some responses (including from others with the same issue) but no solutions, and the only reply from the staff side did not contain any statement to the effect that they would look into it. If you want to look at my thread on the official forum then search for the username "bumblebee."Now, let me put this into perspective. I consider the Level-D 767 to be one of the best add-ons for FSX, and I continue to fly it regularly, more so after the release of the FS2Crew Voice Commander Edition. Anyone looking for a Boeing 767 for FSX or FS9 (the latter does not have this issue) should buy it - no other developer's offerings even come close. This is a minor problem, but I do hope that Level-D might offer an update at some point. Regards, PD
