July 24, 201015 yr Hi: I am having the following problem with the "slew" function...Whenever I hit "Y" to enter slew mode, the aircraft goes crazy and starts moving at warp speed; so much so that I end up far away from the original spot before I can stop it...Really annoying...Is there a way to adjust something so this doesn't happen? Thanks a lot,Steve Steve 7 Miles NW of KGCK
July 24, 201015 yr That means you have not callibrated your slew axes. So, start with doing that in the menu.If you are using a joystick, yoke, throttles and/or rudder pedals, you probably have them automatically assigned also as slew axes. You may disactivate their axes for the slew mode or callibrate making sure there is only one assignment for each slew axis and the sensitivity is not too high.It is also a good practice to hit 'F1' before you hit 'Y' again to finish slewing. That helps avoid crazy jumps, too.
