Online aircraft shown real time in FSX / Multiplayer aircraft info

Featured Replies

In my old trusty FS9 we had FSNAV. As many probably know, FSNAV could show you through multiplayer online aircraft on VATSIM in real time, which was dependable on SB4 distance setting. It could also show up to some specific number of aircraft or was it a limitation of FS9, I don't know...BUT, in FSX, I can't find any tool that will display online VATSIM aircraft in real time. Whatever I tried, online aircraft have to be refreshed, thus not really useful when landing at an airport which has no ATC and one want's a quick situation check.Since I fly almost exclusively on VATSIM, this is pretty important to me.My second problem is the info displaying over online aircraft: I have to set to 5seconds change, with distance and callsign info. As I imagine, it should happen following: 5sec callsign, 5sec distance, 5sec callsign etc... But no, this is not what's happening, FSX is doing following: 5sec callsign, 5 sec distance, 5sec EMPTY, 5sec callsign etc.I would simply like to avoid this emptiness. Is there a way, does it behave same at other systems?

Alright thank you, I'll try those. How about my 2nd problem, any takers on that one?

try vatspy... shows worldwide where everyones flying. i use it on a wireless computer to follow my flight and as a controller cheat when i fly over different boundaries.google itSteve

Vatspy does exactly what I described above - needs to be refreshed every 3 minutes. I believe I'll get FS Commander, it seems it's the best replacement for FSNAV.
