August 10, 201015 yr Anyone interesting in some modifications I made to improve the night lighting in the CLS 767 VC? As many of my 767 flights ended up being at night I found the CLS VC lighting seriously lacking. Knowing CLS is done with FS9 and has a terrible track record fixing things like this I adjusted a few things which turned out quite nice. I'll post what I did in this thread if anyone is interested... August 10, 201015 yr Author Here's what I did to improve the excessively dark VC at night. All I did was add some extra dome lights in the VC which is the best that anyone can do. Instead of suggesting this I did the work of positioning them to somewhat give the feel at night of the Level-D 767. Seeing as I own the CLS 742 I used the dome light from that package as well to improve the effect a bit and switch things up as it wouldn't look as good with the same dome light color throughout.Note: There must have been some forethought on the part of CLS as you now have an extra light in the VC that's clickable thanks to my edits and the 'Logo' button on the overhead panel in the VC. The way I have it setup you get better lighting overhead clicking the 'Logo' button now. There's an AA repaint that has night textures that gives you tail logo lights (only laminates when the landing lights are 'on') on both sides of the vertical stabilizer for the -200 series. I use it for my Continental paint. The paint is located in the 'American Airlines paint for the CLS 767-200' thread. A quick rename of the first section of the file 'CLS762' to 'CLS763' will give you the same solution for the -300 aircraft. I had to thank Alec Francen (northwestairlines13) for the fix for this one. 767-200:[LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing 6=taxi, 7=recognition, 8=wing, 9=logo light.1 = 1, 42.000, 0.000, 9.800, CLS_beacon, // top beaconlight.2 = 1, 12.500, 0.000, -8.700, CLS_beacon, // bottom beaconlight.3 = 4, 73.200, 0.000, 3.400, CLS_747_vclight, // Boeing Orange//light.4 = 6, 70.000, 0.000, -8.350, CLS_taxi_light, // gear bay taxi light rays from taxi lightslight.5 = 9, 42.350, 8.350, -0.250, CLS_nav_yellow , // flap inspection lightlight.6 = 9, 42.350, -8.350, -0.250, CLS_nav_yellow , // flap inspection lightlight.7 = 9, 29.000, -22.000, -2.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.8 = 9, 29.000, 22.000, -2.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.9 = 9, 18.000, -38.000, 4.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.10= 9, 18.000, 38.000, 4.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.11 = 4, 73.000, 1.000, 2.500, CLS_Boeing_vclight, // Boeing Orangelight.12 = 4, 71.500, -1.000, 3.500, CLS_Boeing_vclight, // Boeing Orangelight.13 = 4, 74.100, 0.000, 1.000, CLS_747_vclight, // Boeing Orange767-300:[LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing 6=taxi, 7=recognition, 8=wing, 9=logo light.1 = 1, 48.500, 0.000, 9.800, CLS_beacon, // top beaconlight.2 = 1, 12.500, 0.000, -8.700, CLS_beacon, // bottom beaconlight.3 = 4, 82.600, 0.000, 3.400, CLS_747_vclight, // Boeing Orange//light.4 = 6, 80.000, 0.000, -8.350, CLS_taxi_light, // gear bay taxi light rays from taxi lightslight.5 = 9, 42.350, 8.350, -0.250, CLS_nav_yellow , // flap inspection lightlight.6 = 9, 42.350, -8.350, -0.250, CLS_nav_yellow , // flap inspection lightlight.7 = 9, 29.000, -22.000, -2.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.8 = 9, 29.000, 22.000, -2.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.9 = 9, 18.000, -38.000, 4.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.10= 9, 18.000, 38.000, 4.000, CLS_nacelle_refl, // wing/LE slat rays from inspection lightslight.11 = 4, 82.000, 1.000, 2.600, CLS_Boeing_vclight, // Boeing Orangelight.12 = 4, 79.100, -1.000, 3.500, CLS_Boeing_vclight, // Boeing Orangelight.13 = 4, 83.800, 0.000, 1.000, CLS_747_vclight, // Boeing Orange FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
