Just in case you missed it. Tic has released a little update for ZBAA, which can be downloaded from your simmarket account. Changelog: 1. There is a light pole of Beijing Airport placed at KSEA. I forgot to delete one line in XML file. 2. Static 747 on the field has no texture at night. The name of the texture is wrong. I forgot one space between the letters. He also announced he is still working on the city scenery and hopes to release it by the end of the year!

I was able to solve my CTDs by converting all 32BIT textures to DXT3, which also saves alot of HDD space. I have also deactivated the photoscenery, since the autogen only constisted of trees, but no buildings.

Ok, so another user and I are facing some CTDs with YPPH. MFSG is informed and they are looking at it.

I had a little chat with Oliver (the sole AES developer) a few day agon. Somewhere in the future he will have a look at AES again. Maybe (just maybe) he will add some new addons, otherwise he will only update some existing AES airports and then abandon AES.

Thanks for the reply. I am aware of that addon, but as far as I know it will only change the look of the lights, but won't add any animation.

BTW I am sorry, it was not the IFDG MD11 which was able to do that, but the SMS MD11!

Ok, I've been on a 4 leg trip onboard a MD11F last week, 3 of these flight were at night and I noticed that when the landing lights were switched on the light cones panned from the left/right to the center. Looks really great. Back home I tested that on the PMDG MD11, but when switching on the landing light they are immediately in the center position, so no panning at all. I first thought it is just not possible due to FS9s limitations, but then I tested the IFDG MD11 1.5 and this model is able to do that. As far as I know PMDG promised a FS9 version of the 737NGX.

I was surfing the PMDG Homepage and found something pretty interesting on the "About PMDG" page.In the lower left corner you see a little animation, showing several screenshots and pictures, this is one of them:Well that doesn't look like the usual PMDG 737NG to me, so is that the first screenshot of PMDG's upcoming 737NGX?BTW: The scenery in the background looks like FlyTampas KSEA, which only works in FS9... :(

Yep that was made by David, he's an artist when it comes to panel design, just like Ed.But I have to dissapoint you, you can't get that panel anywhere since it was never released, because of copyright issues!Furthermore PMDG doesn't use a bitmap all that stuff is compiled in their gauge files!
