Please don't wonder why the download link of your former purchase will be deactivated after 7 days due to security reasons. Firing up another re-download ticket while within 12-months period after purchasing the extended download service will grant you the right to have a new download link available for another 7 days. This is what Paul Gollnick said to me.

Tobias, What you are seeing is the original order being reset. You have not been charged again for the MD11X. The download links only remain open for 7-10 days for server security. If you need to redownload the product during the 12 month period simply drop us a line here and I will be happy to reset the order.

Yeah, ummm Toby? You may wanna reread this thread bud. He wasn't complaining at all here. It appears the website may be having abnormalities though with tickets.
