August 12, 201015 yr Does anyone know how to make it so Windows 7 and FSX stop asking about every single gauge, every time, if it's safe or not.I doubt that the request is being made for "every" gauge (surely not the ones used by default aircraft) but it happens primarily when you are wanting to use a FS2004 aircraft which has been tweaked to work in FSX. Many of them use older style gauges which FSX is not sure are compatible with FSX.Try these suggestions:1. Right click on your FSX.exe file and under the Compatibility tab, set it to "run as Adminstrator". That is quite different than you just being logged on as adminstrator. It gives FSX permission to makes changes such as recording your answers properly.2. Temporarily disable UAC (User Account Control). Turn it back on after playing the game - especially if others have access to your computer.3. Answer the questions for each gauge carefully - there is an option to load it for this session only or to record that it is "trusted" gauge for the future. If you indicate it can be "trusted", that info should be written to a section of your FSX.cfg file under the [Trusted] label.Hope that helps.

I have UAC control turned off I believe. I went under user accounts, and account control, and set it to let everything let pass. I haven't tried the run as, but I will. And you are correct, it wasn't every gauge. It was only those of new FSX aircraft addons i've recently put on, and I've tried to select always allow! Thanks so much for your reply! Image Coming...
