I love picking random spots in the world to fly to on flight sim even if they are not real world flight plans. My problem is I am trying to do EIDW/HLLT, and i keep getting a not allowed error. Why do I keep getting this error?Patrick Boynton

Hi PatrickI want to do a flight tonight, so your post will be a test to see if I get any problems entering a flight plan. I used a free online flight plan site called routfinder and entered the start and destination airports and it found this route:EIDW SID LIFFY UL975 MALUD UL6 KEPAD UL151 MID UN615 XAMAB UL612 OGULO UQ223 MILPA UM730 KOGAS UQ225 VEVAR UM623 PELOS UM731 TUC UA411 MON UN157 GASRI STAR HLLT I am going to start up flight sim and see if all goes well. I will report back after the flight. The wind at EIDW was 030@10 knots so going to use rw 34 and Liffy 4Gis the Sid.Kind RegardsJohn Calleja (BAW 352)

Hi again PatrickI flew this flight yesterday and all went well, the management computer took all the waypoints, sids, stars and airports. If you have problems with this route or your own route, let us know how you are entering it and maybe we can spot an error.Kind RegardsJohn Calleja

Patrick,Make sure your runway display length is under the runway length of both EIDW and HLLT. I recently tried a flight from KDFW to PHOG. The FMC would not accept PHOG because I had set the max display runway length to 7000 feet. After I adjusted that setting all was well. Let me know if that helps.Cheers,Gabe
