August 17, 201015 yr I have ultimate traffic 2 and want to change the NWA planes to Delta ones of the same repaints so it is up to date. Any ideas? I was thinking of replacing the NWA model's textures with delta ones. I've done it so far for the 757, and the CRJ. Now I just need to change the A319, A320, A330, and 747. Any help would be much appreciated.
August 17, 201015 yr Yup, until they release new schedules, just continue replacing the repaints. MSFS Premium Deluxe Edition; Windows 11 Pro, I9-9900k; Asus Maximus XI Hero; Asus TUF RTX3080TI; 32GB G.Skill Ripjaw DDR4 3600; 2X Samsung 1TB 970EVO; NZXT Kraken X63; Seasonic Prime PX-1000, LG 48" C1 Series OLED, Honeycomb Yoke & TQ, CH Rudder Pedals, Logitech G13 Gamepad
August 17, 201015 yr Where can I find UT2 repaints for the A319, A320, A330 and 747-400 in the delta livery? I can find them for fruitstand or other AI, but I don't know how to intergrate these into UT2.
August 18, 201015 yr I don't believe there are any UT2 specific paints for the former NWA planes (all the airbus series and the 747-400), but you can download suitable repaints for other models on the following site, or a search on Avsim of course:http://www.borisrepaints.com/category/things/delta-air-lines-things/Just note, you will need to also acquire the base models from avsim or flightsim.com for the paints. The readme files should mention what the base models are and what to search for. I have replaced all my NWA paints except for a few 757s, and the DC9-30 and DC9-40 are going to remain in NWA colors until they are phased out. All DC9-50 models are now Delta colors. A.J. Domingo

August 18, 201015 yr Well, you are going to have to read the manual. It is a little too complicated to explain here in the forum. The UT2 forum also has a lot of informationTo give you a start, open up UT2 and go to traffic options/aircraft repaints. On the left you have the aircraft in the flightplans, on the right lists the aircraft installed in to FSX.On the left, pick the aircraft you want to replace (NWA A319) and choose the aircraft you want to replace it with on the right. One more question, how busy should an airport be? I was looking at ATL at around noon with UT2 airliner traffic set to max, and no GA traffic, and max of 500 planes and ATL is only a quarter full. Any ideas or tips?
August 29, 201015 yr Sorry for the late reply, but if you have UT2 SP1 installed, it added a new limitation to the density of the traffic (even if its 100%) to save fps. Basically, all ground traffic shown spawns about 20 minutes before departure. Therefore, traffic that is parked overnight or had been waiting for departure since the start of the day is nonexistent, hence the sparse Delta traffic. I found a workaround, but it will take some work and patience on your end: using the new UT2 PowerPack, you can import a user submitted ttools database into UT2, and the post SP1 traffic density issue is gone! I found a brand new summer 2010 schedule on avsim (aig_summer_2010_deltaairlines.zip), downloaded and installed the appropriate repaints into my simobjects folder, and installed with PowerPack. Now KATL looks like this (Friday at 1:00pm) :( I then went about replacing all US airlines and the major international carriers with PowerPack schedules to rid myself of this silly limitation! It takes alot of effort, but if its important to you it is worth the effort. If you don't want to go that route, you could install the BGL flightplans/repaints without using powerpack, but just remember to remove the airline from UT2 to avoid double flights. The advantages to using powerpack is that those user submitted schedules will take advantage of the selling points of UT2 (real world routings, the ability to zap traffic on your approach path, and hiding ground traffic when you are at a set altitude to save fps) A.J.
