FSX and FS9 real wx server gone for good?

Adam, that's the whole point, you won't see them till they are coming to get you :(

The machine running the weather server is getting a little long in the tooth and it has had a few hiccups lately. As far as I know there are no plans to pull the plug on the server and I have seen no black helicopters circling the Redmond campus. :(
Adam, your wording above makes me think you're still working on the team - if so, I'm EXTREMELY elated! I really hope to see how your scenery and world modeling techniques have come along.Glad to see you here.

I am an avid globetrotter with my trusty Lufthansa B777F, Polar Air Cargo B744F, and Atlas Air B748F.

Keep in mind they laid off a lot of people at Microsoft. If there is no one watching the available stock of FSX available to ship to stores, then I am not surprised no one is watching the weather server. No one is home in Steve Balmer's head either come to think of it.

Well the server is working just fine here, but the problem is that for some reason the weather is not updating when I look outside! Can someone confirm please? I just went and looked outside again and the weather is the same. This is just making me really upset...now I have to be in the simulator to see updated weather. Why is this happening to me?:(
