Good luck Vinny - you have a nice system that should run FSX very well. Follow the instructions in the link that Firehawk posted to the letter - don't skip any steps.Only when all that is done should you even think about any tweaks - frankly, on a properly set up system with the right hardware you don't need most of them.On my system I only use two - I increased the TBM and I use a high Bufferpools setting - that's all I need for perfect results - no stutters, skips or anything else and a nice constant 30fps no matter where I fly.I'm getting a GTX480 today and that should allow me to remove the BP setting.Main caution - there are LOTS of tweaks floating around and lots of folks who will tell you to try this and that without knowing anything about your system or the tweak - they just read it somewhere.Sometimes less is better - so follow the guide in the link first and go from there.Vic

for me the biggest performance increase came with overclockign my cpu, which i notice you have done. I tried all the tweaks from the above link and from memory i think some of them worked to a degree.By far the biggest performance improvement i have had - to the point where i dont get any stutters is with the tweaks bojote came up with a bit back http://forums1.avsim...p0-conclusions/, he also suggested using an update shader mod ( available in the avsim file library). These have been the biggest improvements.Tom
