September 5, 201015 yr After doing a clean up I noticed that Traffic X was giving me a noticeable loss in FPS, so I decided to get rid of it. No more Merican, thank you! :( I downloaded UTII and was not impressed with the performance, so I chose to try WOAI and it seems to be working very well.I do not see any hint of performance hit at all. I downloaded about 40 packages, installed them and set AI traffic to 100%.BUT, I don't see that many airplanes at the main airports. Is there something that I need to do to see more airplanes parked at the major hubs? What AI packages do you use and recommend?I've seen many videos that show airports populated by parked planes. Any input on how to do this is appreciated.Thanks.Jose MSFS

That in turn will list all of the WOAI packages which have aircraft which visit that airport. That way you can be sure you have the required packages installed. You also should check the parking spaces and their radius at airports you feel are not properly populated. There must be sufficient parking of the correct radius available. The time of day will also play a role on how much traffic is seen as well as your traffic slider setting. BTW - Most (if not all) WOAI Traffic files are in FS2004 format and should be converted to FSX format so they do not block the display of FSX formatted traffic files. There are several conversion utilities available. The one I prefer is found on the file menu of the free utility by Don Grovestine named AI Flight Planner. You can get the latest version here: http://members.shaw.ca/aifp/Hope these thoughts are helpful.
September 5, 201015 yr Author David,Thanks for your input. I did not use a conversion tool, just the installer to FSX option. Can you help with converting the WOAI planes to FSX? I think that some of my FSX AI is not showing up. MSFS

I think that some of my FSX AI is not showing up.If you have any FS2004 format Traffic files active they will block the FSX format files. FSX can use either format but not at the same time - so that is why conversion is desireable. The conversion tool in AIFP is very intuitive - just be sure to use the option which appends FSX to the WOAI Traffic file name during the conversion - and then delete the original WOAI files - keeping only those with FSX as a part of the name.
September 5, 201015 yr Author I downloaded the AI Flight Planner.I'll try to convert and delete. Thanks again.UPDATE:That did it. I have traffic again. MSFS
