Strange problems

Featured Replies

Greetings to the forum,I think that fs2cew is a wonderful addon but i have two strange problems. First when i'am on 2d view and i open a panel (overhead e.t.c) the recognition program stops responding and every time i have to close in and restart it with voice button. Then when i try to start engines on virtual cockpit something happens and i cannot see around only in front. Any suggestions????Regards, Vagelis Drivas

Hi Vagelis,I just responded to your email.#1: I can't explain that. In the email I listed a few thing that you can try. But no one else has ever reported that so it's a very hard to guess.#2: Not sure I follow the question. You're sure you have the latest version of the Maddog with all the latest Maddog Service Updates installed prior to installing FS2Crew?Cheers,

Dear sir thanks for the fast response, I solved the problem with the mic as i uninstalled and reinnstalled both fs2crew and maddog. But there is no solution for the second problem. I will try to explain it.When i'm on vc cockpit i can look around with the pov of my joystick or the numeric buttons. When i call the ground for pushback i move the pov around but instantly the look turns again right ahead. When the pushback stops everything again is normal until the takeoff. After the takeoff the same things happens again. When i try to look around in vc or spot view of the plane instantly the view turns again right ahead. Please inform me what to do since the problem is very irritaing.Regards Vagelis drivas

Hi Vagelis,That's an odd one. Try re-assigning your POV key commands/joystick buttons to something different... That would be my guess where to start. It sounds like of the POV commands (like Snap right or view right) is somehow being triggered.Cheers,

Dear sir,I tried it without the joystick but the same thing happens always. I can look up and down in vc but when i try to look right and left the view always comes ahead. so i guess it's not a problem of the joystick but of the keyboard commands. I also tried to delete all the keyboard assignments and leave the joystick but the same thing happens. Is it possible to see what happens when takeoff or pushback is activated. I mean which keys are activates?Regards Vagelis Drivas

Also i forget to tell you that there is more than one keyboard assignment for each function (i don't know why)For example i send yoy the attachment.RegardsAlso i forget to tell you that there is more than one keyboard assignment for each function (i don't know why)For example i send yoy the attachment.Regards

Try deleting those keyboard assignment just to rule out the possibility that you have a keyboard conflict.Cheers,

Dear sir, I deleted all the key assignements of the view and i reassigned the "eyepoint" keys. The problem seemed to be solved. But everytime i delete only the look keys which seem to be the problem or try to reassign them the problem comes back. I also tried to delete all the view keys and leave only the joystick but the problem is there.I am hopeless.Regards Vagelis Drivas

Hi Vagelis,If you solved the problem by re-assigning the 'eyepoint' keys, I'd stick with that. Also, have you tried restoring the key assignments to the 'default' settings?Cheers,
