Ultimate Traffic 2 Question

Featured Replies

I am thinking about adding UT2 to my FSX system. If I have read the manual correctly, the aircraft that will appear at my airports can be real aircraft that you would expect to see at airports, i.e. United, Southwest, American Airlines, etc or which ever airlines that I choose. That's great, the more realistic the better. My question is this: Will I have the ability to apply those repaints to the standard FSX aircraft like using SouthWest for the 737 or am I stuck with "Orbit Airlines" when I fly standard FSX aircraft?Your answers are appreciated...

The Avsim library is full of repaints for the default aircraft

The Avsim library is full of repaints for the default aircraft
Is that to mean that UT2 doesn't repaint standard FSX aircraft, or is this an extra bit of information. (thanks for the information btw)

UT2 adds ai models and repaints to the sim. It has no effect on the aircraft you fly; it only modifies the aircraft that are flying with you.If you want repaints for the flyable default aircraft, you can download those from the library. Even better, you can download higher quality flyable models and repaints from the library.

UT2 comes with its own models and repaints. They are optimized for best fps performance. So no, you can't apply those to default FSX aircraft like the 747, 737, etc.

With UT running, you wont see the default liveries, just 'real world' ones

I'm going to go ahead and get UT2. I found it easy enough to download the particular liveries I want for the default jets. I did the 737-800 in a Southwest Livery for example and it worked great.Looking forward to using UT2. Thanks for the answer(s) everyone.
