Central Spain sunk

Featured Replies

Hi,Since a week ago I discovered that the a great central part of Spain is sunk and only water parts and airports are on normal level. The sunk part appears in squares when I fly over it, just like the normal evolution of the scenery in squares. I don't know what I did wrong. I use FS9 and have a lot of freeware and payware scenery of Spain, but as far as I know no mesh.I would very appreciate if someone could give me some hints about what is wrong here. RegardsRob

Hello Rob.Do you have the LIEO - Olbia Costa Smeralda scenery from ISD installed - especially the VFR addon part? I think the the included SRTM mesh used to cause a few problems in the area around Spain. Not sure if those were the exact troubles you experience.Maybe you can let us know!?Cheers.Christian

Hey Rob.You are welcome. I am not sure what went wrong while compiling the mesh for Olbia. But if you simply remove the 'SRTM_3ARCSEC.bgl' file (respectively make a backup) you are set again.Well I am glad I was ablte to help.Kind regards,Christian

Hi,Now I discovered the same thing in Bulgaria. A part of Bulgaria is sunk now, putting the airport of Plovdiv on a plateau. The difference with the former Spain scenery problem is that I don't have this sunk scenery when I depart from Plovdiv, only when I arrive there.Does anyone knows what scenery is interfering there? Thanks in advanceRob

I don't have that problem in Plovdiv. For the region I use the freeware Bulgaria MESH from Vencislav Nikolov and Plovdiv Airport scenery by Mitia Alexandrov. Are you using the VFR Series Explore Bulgaria Mesh (LOD13) by Sergey Stoyanov? I haven't used this, so I'm not sure if it will cause the problem you're describing. Its a really big .bgl mesh file, 300MB+.
