fs2 crew use for non-PMDG 747

Featured Replies

I fly a United Airlines 747-400 that I downloaded from a freeware site. I am interested in purchasing the FS2Crew add-on for the cockpit but would love to continue to use my UA model. Is there a way to do this? If so, how? I have FSX and my OS is Vista.

My specs are Windows 7 64-bit, SP1, FSX Acceleration, Intel i5 2410 processor @ 2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6490M, Mobile Intel HD Graphics, Add Ons: PMDG 747-400, UTX North America, UTX Europe, My Traffic X, FS2Crew PMDG 747, FSPassengers

Hi,If it's freeware, your best bet is to purchase the 'default' version of FS2Crew 747, not the PMDG specific one.If that freeware 747 uses its own panel.cfg file, which it might, you'll need to manually copy and paste the FS2Crew window and gauge entries over to that panel.cfg file, ensuring that the window and gauge numbers line up in sequence. It'll take a bit of panel.cfg 'know how' to do that. Cheers,
