October 7, 201015 yr Good day all:I recently purchased an extended download for the B-1900D aircraft that I want to fly again now that I have replaced my computer. when the e-mails cleared I was told to submit a "Re-Download Ticket" in PMDG's Suppot Portal: http://support.precisionmanuals.com .I followed the link and set up an account so I could submit the ticket and received another e-mail entitled "PMDG Support Desk Email Address Verification". I followed the link from this e-mail to verify my address, but the site would not load so I could not verify my address so I could not log into their support site, so I could not submit my ticket so I could not download my airplane. I then asked for another verification e-mail to be sent and had the same problem. Next thing I did was to reply to the address I received the verification e-mails from which is "PMDG Technical Support" [email protected] . I waited a couple of days and did not receive a reply. Then I found out this address is not monitored. OK, next step I went to the Contact Us link on their site and found out PMDG does not do e-mail, phone calls, or postal mail because there are no options for any of these means of communications. Since I can not log onto their support site to get support, and can not contact them, do they monitor this site, and if so can they give me a hand with this. I do so appreciate it.Thank You.Jim Merson
October 7, 201015 yr Hi Jim, Just a couple questions that may or may not help, but,,, Didn't you create an account back when you bought the B-1900D? I thought that was mandatory, but if not it should be. It would cut down a lot of issues people have from time to time. Did you add [email protected] to your contacts of your email program? I had to do this before I would get even the auto responce so doubt this is your problem. Most addon companies do them as a side job and do not make enough coin to make it a full time project. I know that seems a tad upsetting but they should respond to this providing you provided your real name above. They actually respond better than most addon developers and rarely do any of them include any type of phone number.PMDG are here very often (again, more often than most) so hopefully you'll get squared away soon. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
October 7, 201015 yr I don't know if I set up an account at the support.precisionmanuals.com site when I purchased the airplanes there or not as that was back in 2006 or so.Yes, I agree that Precision Manuals or PMDG is a good company, I have never had reason to complain and their products I purchased from them (737's and B1900's) are top notch in my oponion and leave their competition in the dust (I also own the 737 PIC and a 737 from Ariane). Yes, I am sure someone will be by shortly and get me a hand just a case of being patient.Jim Merson Hi Jim,Just a couple questions that may or may not help, but,,,Didn't you create an account back when you bought the B-1900D? October 7, 201015 yr The method to obtain direct support from PMDG is via their support portal at the web site. Email is no longer used for support, see the pinned topic titled support portal for more information. Dan Downs KCRP
