September 10, 200322 yr Moderator Clayton, yea, I'd be interested too, so I'm bumping this one.Wondering if it has any impact on performance on more moderate systems since it appears to be running many tasks incl. sounds.Cheers,Petehttp://members.aol.com/pzsoulman/myhomepage/logo.gifAthlonXP2000,AbitKX7-333(latest4in1),512MB/2700SDRAM,WinXP,DirectX8.1,Geforce3TI200(128MB)(Det.30.82),SBlive(WDM5.1.2601.0) I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11
September 10, 200322 yr I've used FSHotseat since it came out for FS2K2. Excellent add-on, the microsoft digitized voice take getting used to and I never noticed much of a hit on computer performance. I run all my ancillary programs (Activesky, ACARS, Squawkbox) on a second computer, so that helps. I haven't run FSHS yet with FS2K4, dl'd the update, just haven't flown yet. Should be fantastic. There's nothing like the stewardess calling out the name of your airline, departing and arrival destinations, and having the copilot point out geographical references. Really adds to the atmosphere for me.
September 10, 200322 yr I would like to know about this program as well. It sounds a lot like Flight Deck Companion.Tony
September 10, 200322 yr I tried the demo, the digitized voice ruined it for me and I never realy got into it after that. Hopefully someone with a higher threshold can review it, hehe.
September 14, 200322 yr I am loving HotSeat. The digitized voice may take some getting used to but you end up accepting 'Bob' for who he is. However, he pronounces my full name correctly which is more than I can say for most real people. :)Speed.
