September 16, 200322 yr Is it me or is it no longer posible to hold down "J" and - or + to start a single engine just like the manual way in fs2k2 and fs2k. Is this some bug or is there a new key assignment.. Dont tell me i have to use the too easy ctrl E auto start foolishnes now !!?I checked the keyboard asssignments and the J is still there as "jet starter" so what gives ?? November 10, 200322 yr Yeah, I am having the same problem too...appears no onw knows why the Jet Starter don't work anymore although the operation J is still in the kneeboard. I would like to get this resolved...

November 10, 200322 yr Go into the options/controls/assignments and then assign a key/button for the master battery switch. MS neglected to do this with the default settings. Manual start will then work. I've tested this with the default 737/747/777. MAnual starts work fine. You don't need the J key. Just master batt./throttle engine# control to run/engine start# switch on. John Fitzpatrick
