Hi Bryan,I have experienced the following incident the last two flights on the same route:The flight is short approx. 70 nm., so my cruising altitude is set at 9000 ft.After Descent preparations my FO reports 'Approach setup complete' and right after announces 'Flight Level 100', although we are still at 9000 ft.

There's a 1000 foot buffer used to trigger the call (9000 to 10,000 feet). The buffer is there to ensure the call plays. If I made the trigger point exactly 10,000 feet only, there's a chance the it could get skipped because the condition would only be true for a fraction of a second.In an update, I'll reduce that size of the buffer for you. 200 feet should be sufficient.Cheers,
