September 20, 200322 yr C++ - using Visual Studio 6.0 with MFC...http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg"Ah, the Luftwaffe - the Washington Generals of the History Channel." - Homer Simpson
September 20, 200322 yr KenTks for this.I seem to recall that V1.3 automatically installed itself to my C: drive whereas I would have preferred it on D: where I keep MSFS. Before I d/l the latest version can you confirm that the installation will allow me to choose my own path?Tks.David
September 20, 200322 yr Yes it does allow you to choose - that was a goof up on my part when I built the installer for v1.3. That is now fixed.http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg"Ah, the Luftwaffe - the Washington Generals of the History Channel." - Homer Simpson

September 20, 200322 yr Hi Ken,Just one last request and I'll shut up. The screen size save is great but can you also have it save the windowed sizes inside the container window. I have to keep readjusting the column widths to get everything to fit eveery time I open the program. (quibble, quibble, quibble). Also it would be great to have an option for a user selectable fonts as some screen resolutions could use larger fonts. Thanks again for this program....it makes the changes and tweaks sooo easy.Charlie
September 21, 200322 yr How dare you nitpick my program!:-lol ;-)Just kidding - yeah I agree it should be more flexible. I do plan another version with more Tools - I'll try to include this also...Thanks for the feedback!http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg"Ah, the Luftwaffe - the Washington Generals of the History Channel." - Homer Simpson
September 21, 200322 yr My small additions to this fine tool would be:1) Make search non-case sensitive (or give a choice)2) Have last search reappear in Search window when it is reopened3) Have Search window stay on screen until closed so that further searches can be done through "Find Next" buttonThis makes the tool act more like the Search in Notepad. Thanks again for your application.Joe
September 21, 200322 yr Thanks for the feedback! Recommendations noted.http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg"Ah, the Luftwaffe - the Washington Generals of the History Channel." - Homer Simpson
September 21, 200322 yr Thanks Ken for the great little program. It's a wonderful tool to have. I often feel a bit like a sponge, I use all these wonderful programs and haven't as yet created/designed anything for the sim community. So..... for the first time I've made a donation. It was a small one, but it made me feel a wee bit better...lolThanks for all that you do for the simming community!
September 22, 200322 yr Thank you very much!http://saltydogfly2.avsim.net/images/avsim_sig.jpg"Ah, the Luftwaffe - the Washington Generals of the History Channel." - Homer Simpson
